The challenge

Counselors handled application files (visa, Campus France, universities) entirely by hand, with no centralized tracking tool.

Our approach

  1. Phase 1 contractual scoping

Contract signed on May 3, 2026, backend scaffolding.

  2. Building the file workflow

State machine with activity log, counselor admin space.

  3. In progress

    Client space for students/parents.

The solution

NestJS/Next.js back-office with a state-based file workflow, step-by-step validation by a counselor, proof-based payments via upload, and a separate client space under construction.

Tech stack
  • NestJS 11
  • Prisma 6
  • MySQL 8
  • Next.js 15
  • Tailwind v3
  • Server Actions

Key results

  • File state machine with full traceability

  • 2 frontends on a shared API

  • No commercial metrics available (v2 not yet deployed)
