The challenge

A Cameroonian cocoa exporter must prove the deforestation-free origin of its supply chain to keep selling on the European market, with data collected in the field over unstable connectivity.

Our approach

  1. Contractual scoping in 6 work packages (16 weeks)

    Accounts, mapping, declarations, offline mobile, acceptance.

  2. Modular API development

    GPS mapping with anti-deforestation check, declarations, mobile sync using an idempotency key.

  3. In progress

    Actual submission of due diligence statements (DDS) to the EU Trace API.

The solution

NestJS API + offline-first Expo mobile app for field collection, paired with a web administrator management space (Next.js) for tracking and validation, GPS polygon mapping, automated anti-deforestation check, harvest declarations, exporter KYC module, export in EU Trace format.
